Apostle B.J. Pleasant is a transformational leader, apostolic voice, and executive strategist called to build, govern, and advance Kingdom work across ministry and marketplace. She carries a clear mandate to establish people, align systems, and lead individuals and communities into stability, purpose, and lasting transformation.

 

A U.S. Army Veteran with nine years of honorable service, Apostle Pleasant leads with discipline, precision, and a high standard of execution. She is the Principal Owner and Senior Business Process Analyst of BJR Enterprise, LTD, where she works with organizations to strengthen operations, build effective systems, and position for sustainable growth. She also serves as the Founding President and Chief Executive Officer of Community Arts Experience, Inc. (CAE), a nonprofit Community Development Corporation advancing community stability, mental well-being, and economic mobility through coordinated, outcomes-driven solutions.

 

With more than two decades of experience, she is known for her ability to bring order to complexity, develop leaders, and build structures that last. Her voice carries both spiritual authority and practical clarity, enabling her to move people beyond inspiration into alignment, discipline, and forward progress.

 

Her ministry journey reflects both depth and progression. She was ordained and licensed as an Elder in 2003 under the leadership of Reverends Robert W. and Beverly A. Lewis, Sr. In 2015, she was commissioned to the Office of the Prophet under the leadership of Drs. Mark and Jill Kauffman of Jubilee Ministries International. She was later commissioned into the Office of Apostle by Apostle Brian K. Pleasant, Jr., affirming her mandate to build, govern, and advance Kingdom work with clarity and authority.

 

Apostle Pleasant serves alongside her husband, Apostle Brian K. Pleasant, Jr., as Chief Executive Pastor of One Kingdom Ministries in Wheatland, Pennsylvania, where they establish vision, provide apostolic oversight, and steward the ministry’s growth and alignment. Together, they founded the One Kingdom Ministries Canton Campus, installing pastors and maintaining ongoing oversight, while extending apostolic oversight to three additional ministries nationwide. Through this work, they develop leaders, establish sound ministry structures, and advance Kingdom culture across regions.

 

In addition to her leadership and ministry, Apostle Pleasant is an international gospel recording artist whose voice has reached audiences across the nation and abroad. She has ministered alongside Grammy Award–winning and nationally recognized artists and has toured internationally, carrying a sound that ministers, breaks barriers, and creates space for transformation. Her music ministry extends her assignment beyond traditional settings, reaching diverse audiences and environments.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Organizational Management and an Associate Degree in Business Administration. Her leadership also extends into the civic arena, where she has served as President of the Farrell Human Relations Commission and as a Board Member of the Mercer County NAACP, as well as in other regional and national affiliations.

 

At the center of her life is her family. Apostle Pleasant carries a deep love for her husband, Apostle Brian K. Pleasant, Jr., her children, and her nine grandchildren, who remain central to her life and legacy.
